What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Your contact information

We will get your contact information when you correspond with us, call us to request information or make a purchase; when you request information or make a purchase online; when you register to attend a seminar; and when you request information through a publication or participate in an online survey. However, like many web sites, the DocuForms web site does use “cookie” technology. When you connect to our site, the cookie identifies your browser with your unique identifying code. The cookies that we use do not reveal any personal information about you to anyone. We use cookies to identify you when you place orders and to pre-fill some order information on return visits. Regardless of source, we store all information in a secure system of databases.

In addition to using your information for printing on our products, we use your personal information to keep you up to date on the latest product announcements plus extend special offers which may include products and service information from other companies that can add value to our products. In order to gauge customer satisfaction and develop better products, we may also use your personal information to ask you to participate in a market research survey.

Purchases

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

You always have access to the information we have about you.

DocuForms does not store credit card information. That information is stored with the credit card processor and we use tokens that the card processor can use to find your information in their system.
